What Happens After You Place an Order

Most questions we get by email are really the same question: where is my order, and is something wrong? Usually nothing is. Here is the whole sequence, with the actual timings, so you can tell at a glance whether your order is on track.

Straight away: your confirmation email

As soon as the payment goes through, you get an order confirmation at the email address you used at checkout. If it has not arrived within a few minutes, check your spam folder before anything else. That is where it ends up most often.

1 to 2 business days: handling

Your order is picked, checked and packed within one to two business days. Business days are Monday to Friday, so an order placed on Friday evening is normally handled on Monday or Tuesday.

Dispatch, and your tracking number

Orders are dispatched from a fulfilment warehouse in the United States. When the parcel leaves, you get a second email carrying the tracking number.

That number often shows nothing for a day or so, and this is normal. The label is created when the parcel is packed, but the first real scan only happens once the carrier physically collects it. Nothing has gone wrong in that gap.

5 to 8 business days: transit

Standard shipping is free on every US order and normally takes five to eight business days after dispatch. Counting the handling time, that is six to ten business days from the day you order.

Express shipping costs $15 and normally takes two to three business days after dispatch.

We ship within the United States only.

If the tracking has not moved in five business days

Email support@glamdealstore.com with your order number. We will chase the carrier and come back to you. Support is open Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern Time.

You can also check where things stand on our Track Your Order page.

If you change your mind

You can cancel any time before the order enters fulfilment. Email us and we will stop it if it has not been packed yet. After delivery you have 30 days to return an item, and return shipping is paid by the customer. The full terms sit in our Refund Policy and Shipping Policy.
