Drop Cheek Light Moulded Mullen Bit – Gentle, Stable & Horse-Friendly

Soft & Even Pressure with Moulded Mullen Design

The Drop Cheek Light Moulded Mullen Bit is designed for ultimate comfort and control, making it ideal for horses that are sensitive to rein pressure. The moulded mullen mouthpiece is crafted to provide an even distribution of pressure across the tongue and bars, reducing the risk of discomfort or pinching. Unlike traditional jointed bits, the smooth, continuous shape encourages horses to accept the contact and remain relaxed, making it an excellent choice for young, green, or sensitive horses.

The lightweight yet durable material ensures a gentle, cushioned feel, while the ergonomic shape conforms naturally to the horse’s mouth. This bit is a game-changer for riders seeking a balanced, responsive, and comfortable connection.

Drop Cheek for Stability & Consistent Contact

The drop cheek (Baucher) design enhances stability by keeping the bit securely in place, preventing unnecessary movement in the horse’s mouth. Unlike loose-ring bits, this design provides a steadier, more defined rein aid, allowing for clearer communication and improved head carriage.

Additionally, the slight poll pressure effect encourages a light, natural flexion, helping horses achieve a more refined and relaxed frame. This makes the bit particularly effective for dressage riders, flatwork training, and horses that need subtle guidance without excessive force.

High-Quality, Horse-Friendly Materials for Durability

Made from light moulded synthetic material, this bit offers a soft yet durable feel, ensuring maximum comfort for the horse. The non-metallic composition helps reduce bit resistance, making it an excellent option for horses that are fussy, mouthy, or hesitant to accept traditional metal bits.

The low-maintenance, easy-to-clean design means it’s perfect for daily training, competition use, or young horses still adapting to a bit. Whether you’re looking for a gentle schooling bit or a reliable option for sensitive horses, the Drop Cheek Light Moulded Mullen Bit is a must-have.
