Myler Eggbutt Mullen Barrel Bit – Gentle, Stable & Effective for Every Ride

The Myler Eggbutt Mullen Barrel Bit is expertly crafted to provide optimal comfort, precise communication, and reliable control for both horse and rider. Whether you’re training, competing, or enjoying a casual ride, this bit delivers a smooth and stable experience without unnecessary pressure. The barrel design and mullen mouthpiece work together to promote a gentle yet effective connection, making it a great choice for horses that require extra comfort and responsiveness.

Innovative Mullen Mouthpiece for Gentle Guidance

Unlike traditional snaffles that can create pinching or discomfort, the mullen mouthpiece provides even pressure distribution across the horse’s tongue and bars. This encourages relaxation and acceptance of the bit, making it ideal for sensitive horses or those that resist strong contact.

The barrel in the center allows for independent rein movement, giving the rider more precise control over lateral aids while maintaining a soft feel. This feature is especially useful for dressage riders, show jumpers, and trainers working on fine-tuned communication.

Eggbutt Cheeks for Stability & Comfort

The eggbutt design prevents the bit from moving too much in the horse’s mouth, reducing the risk of pinching or discomfort at the corners of the lips. This ensures a consistent and steady contact, promoting better responsiveness without tension.

With no harsh joint action, this bit is perfect for horses that may struggle with nutcracker effects from traditional snaffles. Instead, it provides a smooth and predictable connection, keeping the horse comfortable and focused.

The Myler Eggbutt Mullen Barrel Bit is suitable for a variety of riding disciplines, including:

Dressage – Enhances lightness and relaxation in the contact.
